About

I’m an engineer by profession and work for an offshore construction company. I help to install sub-sea oil and gas pipelines, and occasionally get to work offshore, which is nice.

I am also cursed / blessed with a mildly ADD-like mind. My thoughts dart about from one theme to another, often making bizarre connections. It’s like a party inside my head where science breakdances with art, philosophy is arm wrestling with history, psychology is spiking politics’ drink and mathematics is crying in the corner.

This distraction led to the name of the website.

The themes I write about then, are wildly varied in topic and format. Engineering, music, science, art, women, cartoons, architecture, health, chickens (yup) are just some of the topics I like to cover.

I am often overwhelmed with ideas so I have described some of them in a section called Future Projects.
